We sat down with Tanya Lee, franchise owner of Woofie’s® Reston-Herndon, to ask a few questions about what it’s like to franchise with Woofie’s®.

TL: There are a lot of things I like about Woofie’s® and about being a franchise owner. The most important aspect for me is that Woofie’s® — the business model, the mission, strategy, operations – everything– is consistent with my own value system and my own passion for pets. I like that the business is about providing loving care to pets and their owners. I really enjoy meeting people and talking about their pets and also giving them peace of mind that we are going to strive to give them the best possible care. I like that we always take the high road — we don’t cut corners, we always go the extra mile, we have high standards and we bring smart solutions and strategies to building a great business.

TL: The support that Woofie’s® has provided in the onboarding process has been stellar.  It goes way beyond checking boxes on a checklist – they have been in the trenches with me the whole way providing guidance, support, great advice, helping hands, and encouragement when I needed it.  They have been great mentors to me, and I could not ask for better support.

TL: I think owning a Woofie’s® franchise is a dream come true – for the right person!  If you are passionate about pets and having a great business where you spend your days surrounded by dogs and cats is your dream job, then you could not find a better business in the pet industry than owning a Woofie’s® franchise!
